hi marg & Jfri just doing a quick drop in to try and catch up a bit, so i’m a little back and forth at the moment. hope everyone is well.

Needy are we, JFri? Well, I’m out of milk, so there will be no cereal tomorrow.

How about egotatos as my Grandma calls them. We’ll do an omelet with potatoes, onions, peppers, cream cheese, chives, and when the omelet is done, we’ll add cheddar cheese (the sharpest kind) on top with bacon and toast on the side, and if someone could provide the beverages, I would be much obliged, I’m fresh out. (Unless you want water.)

Should throw you in the needy bunch, Marg, ya bunch of ingrates! LOL Hi yyyguy!

Johnny, I apologize, that is indeed a good breakfast. Doc’s nuclear coffee is on tap, as well as assorted teas, hot sauce by the gallon, Dr. Pepper, strawberry milk, and assorted juices.

Just asking, johnny. Think I’ll just hunker down with my stash of chocolate pudding!!

I see that RogOregon is back at SOTU under a very slightly different name and stirring up touble as usual.

Good afternoon all. Late getting in today. My heater went out last night. The tank said we had 30 or 40 gallons of fuel oil left, but the pressure gauge said no fuel pressure. I’m hoping the tank gauge was wrong and we were just out of oil. Should know shortly, my lovely female accomplice says the oil truck is there now.

so my ankles have not heald all the way so it seems. well my right one maily. today as i was standing it gave out just gave out like quit working like no hold up tabby. lol i caught myself then. the 2nd time i was going under the net in VB well it looked like i hung myself when i triped and i fell flat on my face, hurt my hands both of them are brused the right one i cant close. the left is brused on top. my left knee is nice and swolen and brused. I DID GOOD! the last time it gave out i was hitting the ball back ( i lie the last was the fall under the net the 2nd was this one) i hit the ball it gave out and i did nija roll but did not land on my feet like i was supposed to do. yea im hurting and yet i cleaned the houes vacumed, dusted, swept all of that junk.

i have to stop limping b4 dad gets home or im gonna hear it big time.

i am fine truly, just should be placed in a bubble to live out my life. :0)

okay so i cleaned the house earlyer today now im doing studying and cooking supper.

i am expermenting kind of. choped tators cooking/smothering in one pot and in the other chicken (choped) smothering/cooking. when done they will be compined together and cooked down some more so that the flavors are mixed and will be served with cream corn. sound good, i hope it is as good as i think it will be.

Tabby your dinner sounds good. It might have been easier and less work to have just combined the chicken and potatoes in a roasting pan and let them cook together in the oven.

cleo i did that before and dad complaine bc the potatoes came out to had for him to eat. he has dentrues and complaines alot!

turns out i hurt my mouth also when i fell today. :0( first time i eat since then.

Terry, when I make Italian, I always have meatballs and hot sausage, and fried hot peppers. That used to be a standard at all our family Sunday big Italian family get togethers. Oh and my Great Aunt made the spagetti by hand and also she made fried chicken. GREAT eats! And warm pizzales and ice cream for dessert!

Dry–Even though my mother is part Italian, she never cooked a whole lot of Italian dishes other than spaghetti. Being slovak though, almost all of our pastas were homemade from scratch including sghetti, noodles, etc. Never was a big meataball eater either, but dang, do I love the hot sausage and peppers.

As far as the pizzales go……were they a sweet dessert because I seem to remember something like that. Flat kind of cookie shaped with sugar sprinkled on or something like that.

Terry pizzales are a very THIN cookie, or very thin waffle, with a design something like a snowflake is the closest I can describe it. My Great Aunt did the design by hand, but now they have pizzale irons, like a waffle iron with the design in the iron. My mom had one for several years and used to make them also. You can put powdered sugar on them but my family never did. Cause we had the ICE CREAM to go with them!

Dry–I’m sure that’s what I am thinking of. I’m fairly certain we had powdered sugar on ours. Then again the Bohemians put powdered sugar on ALL of the desserts! LOL

We had a lovely dinner of shrimp cakes, horseradish dill sauce with homemade mayo, lightly dressed coleslaw and roasted organic potatoes. MMM good.

I am about to watch a movie. Since Lil’G isn’t watching it with me I will try to check in with y’all, unless I fall asleep. What is it about movies at night. I guess a meal and wine helps propel one into slumber.

Tabby I do not know how to respond to your question. I have heard people say that if you are hit you should hit back, but never if you don’t, that you will be hit. This sounds medieval. Are you okay?

Tabby, if I were hit, I would probably want to hit back, but that may not be the best means of handling the situation. Think clearly before retaliation, is my motto.

Tabby That is wrong! I think you know that. The world tells us to hit back, but that is not the way to win people over to love. Protect yourself from harm, of course, but if you are hit and your life is not in danger- walk away and tell them that you don’t believe in violence.

Call the police if there are threats, but do not encourage violence with violence.

Sorry about the outburst, but I have strong feelings about violence or people who advocate it.
