Wow. The wind is cold out there. The snow’s on the ground but they’re not finished with the finishing touches. They’ve even got a Santa and rheindeer. I didn’t last too long out there. For the moment, I will watch from my second story vantage point.

They’re starting to talk about possibility of snow. We’re supposed to be getting snow showers in the morning. We shall see.

Looks like it’ll be a lazy easy day here. When I’m sure my hubby is up I’ll start mucking about the kitchen and get the turkey started. Dunno when my son will be home. Sigh…I need to be patient.

Good morning to all who are here. For Christmas eve made it to candlelight service. Church was pack very good. Service was a little different used computer to link with Jesus birth, way done was very humors. Tis now Christmas day and 26degrees here no snow. Last year went where sister and hubby lived not near ICT hwys were cleared of snow. Neighbors streets not. Evening went to look at neighbor’s lights and it snowed. Felt like Christmas.

We are having 3 types of soup, sister and hubby has deer chili, mom chicken noodles(wheat), and me chicken and veggies. pies and small bag of peanut clusters. I don’t know if I will be on later. So I wish everyone who reads this a Blessed Christmas and remember Jesus is the reason we celebrate.

Today we open presents here at the house when our second daughter gets here with her BF. Then we go to my mother’s house to have Christmas dinner with what’s left of the immediate family. My brother-in-law has continued to come to the get together for the major holidays since my sister passed away. It will be a nice afternoon for sure!

We had snow falling fairly heavy as we left the Candlelight Service last night and the ground was all white when James looked out the window this morning. Just beautiful!

Grog, I don’t see how either. Email PB and I am sure they will straighten it out. They have helped me with an issue in the past and they were fairly prompt.

I doubt they’ll correct the problem that quickly during the Holidays though.

HopeandJoy - I’m using Goku as my avatars. That was originally a Japanese childrens story. Gouk stared as a naive child with super abilities. He did what was right just because it was right regardless of danger to himself helping others. The halo on the character represents he has passed from this life and is in the one that follows. Thought it would be good for today.

Sojo thank you for filling me in on Goku. It is a wonderful story with some Messianic similarities it seems to me. Is it of recent, modern vintage or ancient saga made more modern?

HopeandJoy - The creater of the story was Akira Toriyama was born on April 5, 1955. He created the story in 1984. It sold over 100,000,000 copies in Japan and also went world wide. It has several full length movies, role playing games, etc. Anime made it into a cartoon series first in Japan then an English voice version which is what I first saw. It introduced him as an 11 or 12 year old boy with a lot of adventures. They had him growing up as an adult, married and having a child which was had adventures like he did. Part of the plot involves dragon balls. There are seven of them and if you can find all of them it wakes up a dragon that grants you a wish. After the wish they are scattered around the world. The story involves the search for them with a lot of good vs. evil. Goku meets people along the way he helps.

HopeandJoy - You can google Goku and get more info then you want. What I liked about it was he always helped anyone with a problem regardless of danger to himself just because it was the right thing to do. Evil in the end of the adventures always ended up lossing. To me it is good escape fiction.

Humbug - My smart phone can’t watch Hulu either (it might if I wan’t to pay them a monthly fee). I have an Android, some web sites like TVLand require Flash to work. I found out the phone needs version 2.2 to put Flash on it, mine is 2.1 so I can’t use Flash. However since 2.2 is new a lot of apps that I use won’t work on 2.2 yet! I got this phone cheap to learn about them and plan to upgrade in a year or two as phones are improving and getting cheaper. I’m glad I have what I do, it does more for me than I thought and has been a good thing to get.

I just finished dinner while watching Remember The Night. I’ll be back after watching my favorite Christmas movie, Christmas In Connecticut. Any movie with Sidney Greenstreet as a supporting actor is, to say the least, interesting whether it’s the aforementioned or The Maltese Falcon.

We had an extension to the Christmas gathering as my nephew showed up from out of state late. He is only 24 and I haven’t seen him since my sister passed on. He had a very difficult time dealing with the loss of his mother and went on a hiatus from his family. It is very good to have him back in the loop and I hope it doesn’t change.

This Christmas is turning out to be something more special than it usually is!

Good evening all what a day and we ended it opening more gifts at home amoung our own family. Our daughter’s guy had a field day. We had gotten him gifts in past so he wanted to this time even gotten something for our son. Went around and looked at lights. Few set to computer Christmas music one wasn’t that great but other two were fantastic.

Humbug where did that santa picture come from? I showed to my family. I couldn’t beleive someone would do that to poor santa.

Little Sister I am really hoping for the best for your grades. I realize how nerve racked it is waiting to know if you pass so you can move on. I know mine are both C’s. This spring I am only taking one class. I need to get CC paid on. I was so hoping been great Christmas gift with 0 balance. I think not sure in future about taking one over though I made a C. I also went on Internet to try to find what I looked for and found it for break down on terms this will help me understand better and stay on my mind. This has been a blessed day. I’ll keep it until Monday, I think. In Canada, Boxing day is big for sales. A lot of people don’t do the Christmas thing until after they’ve got a good deal on their gifts. To me that is so wrong, but I guess it’s as much their tradition as mine has been to open gifts on Christmas Eve.

I’ve bought most all my gifts before the Thanksgiving rush anyway.
