I stopped by to answer a message from Dry, since I thought this would be the best place to find her….

Dry…. I agree, that particular strip you posted about was rather offensive…maybe more puerile than intentionally tasteless.

He seems immature…. maybe (I hope!) he’s young.He has a new strip out today that I can’t even understand..

Few people now will ever see yesterday’s; not sure I want to bring more attention to it….but perhaps he still ought to be told.

which has a contact link…I may drop him a line, and you may want to too.

I’d be gentle with him…. it’s hard being an aspiring cartoonist….

In fact he says he wasn’t going to post that strip cos it might draw complaints…but some friends thought it was funny….He may need to hear from some who don’t agree.

I used to spend my winters camping in the Florida Keys and fished a lot while there ; with much success. Now i live on a lake with many people fishing on it or off a bridge and I have never been tempted to get a rod and fish off my dock. Times change and I guess so did I. I will sit on the dock with a cocktail though. Last spring I found a partially eaten fish on my dock. I figure a seagull or bald eagle feasted on it while sitting on the dock. So even though I am not fishing off of it, it is still being used for fishin’.

I like beer and on a hot summer day a nice cold beer is great, but if it’s PBR or Miller, or Iron City, I’ll drink ice water before I touch those! LOL! Not familiar with Brain Belt or Lone Star, local beers I gather?

There are some good micro-brewed beers in southern Ontario and Montreal as well. I haven’t yet tasted anything I like in Texas or Louisiana.

I guess I should feel lucky, my plumber charged me $130.00.It could have bin worse.Tomarow I take my boy to the vet. He has not eaten a real meal for several days. And has lost what little I have bin able to get him to eat soon after.I am so worried.

((((((((((((((Oh happy!)))))))))))))) Having loved and cared for so many dogs and cats in my life, I am sure at this moment, your stomach is totally tied up in knots. I pray that all will be well for your little best friend! I will say some prayers tonight for you both. Keep good thoughts!

Have you tried some cooked rice with beef or chicken broth? Or just some plain cooked boneless chicken or hamburger with no seasonings?

Weak. I got him to eat some bacon yesterday. He will eat a little something out of my hand, but it won’t stay down. No water tonight, ( per the vet) and at her office at opening tomorrow morning.

I wish and pray for the very best outcome, Happy! My thoughts will be with you tonight and tomorrow. Again, all I can do from so far away, sadly, is offer you good thoughts, prayers and a big hug

@Susan and Dry, I checked it out yesterday, but did not post for pretty much the same reason (that, and I went back quite a few days and none of the others were similar). I checked the link to today’s and it also just shows rather young humor (he purposely had a sock worn numerous days selling food and “tried” to make it as disgusting looking as possible. I don’t plan to add that strip to my rather full page.

It’s past my bedtime and I have all the new Sunday night ’toons on my upstairs TV (only watched a couple last night).
