I read your post from yesterday. Good for you! These are hard steps to take, but in the long run, it’ll make things so much easier and you’ll have one less hurdle to jump. I remember how hard it was to explain to my mom why she should put me legally in control of decision-making. It was a heart-breaking experience. But, once that was in place, everything was a little easier.
Soldier on, sugie! …and lean on us whenever you need to. There’s a lot of experience hanging out here that’ll probably be helpful to you as time goes by. So many of us have been where you are now.
Stel, like I said, nip it in the bud if you can. It may not last as long though, if you are still taking it. I use the spray or the lozenges now since they don’t make the swabs anymore, sadly.
In case anyone missed my post from last night:I just came across a delightful little Friday strip at Sherpa, called Sleepytown Beagles! VERY CUTE, I added it to my queue! I went all the way back to the beginning in 2011. It’s before Smith in the line up if you go alphabetical. When I type the title in the search bar, it doesnt come up. But then, I shouldn’t have a problem anymore because it’s in my queue now.
All I was doing last night was sitting in front of a Netflix movie when I decided to call it a day. I rose out of my chair and sprained my ankle. penny did not have much patience as I took her for her morning walk.
Yes, being a caregiver is so stressful that it can even take the giver before the getter. My dad was caring for mom since a stroke in her 60s (and he seemed fine) but he wound up dying first of a previously undiscovered stomach cancer. They were both in their 80s when they passed tho’ so that is what I expect. The only reason to want any longer life is the company of my man.
I don’t know how you can see the subscriber numbers at Sherpa, FELLOW BABY but I am glad. But 17 isn’t much, we gotta help this cartoonist. I mean REALLY, HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT
PLASTIC BABY HEADS FROM OUTER SPACE?
THAT CRAP IS IN THE REGULAR LINE UP FROM A-Z WHILE SOME GREAT GREAT STRIPS ARE FLOUNDERING IN SHERPA!
Fellow Baby, don’t you get sick of it though? And I LOVE the Steve Miller Band! I have that one myself!
I think I will email gocomics about this situation and ask them why they choose some really CRAPPY strips to put in the regular line up and ignore some REALLY GOOD SHERPA strips. I will let you know if they respond.
I somehow zoned out on your post, cleo. I think I just woke up and it didn’t quite register. I do know you should spend much more time off your feet than on them. Try to stay off your feet for a bit.
Fellow Baby, No I haven’t seen Reality Check yet. I have been outside in my garden for most of the day, I am only at Broom Hilda in my queue. Which means I will have to play BIG TIME catch up tmr. Because I am heading out soon and will NO WAY, NO HOW finish my queue tonight!
I did email gocomics so I will see if they respond..
I am SO HAPPY that Graham Harrop won the RUEBEN FOR TEN CATS! I know you aren’t a fan of cats, but that strip is SO DARN CUTE, AND HE DESERVED IT! He apparently started out on Sherpa, but I didn’t discover the strip then, sadly, because those strips are missing now.
This site must be slow or something! I was typing and refreshed, and now there are a few more comments. I did check Reality Check Fellow Baby and left a comment for Shika!
Some people are like that, Fellow Baby. When I hear something I like and don’t know who it is, I ask and file the answer away. If I hear more that I like, then I’ll be looking at albums to buy.

You’re going to take that trade bill to Congress on a frisbee so that you don’t get any bite marks on the bill.
Good Morning, cleo, sugar, Fellow Baby & the rest of the CD gang!

I thought Fergus was going to be asked to bring a dog poo bag. But on careful consideration, he probably uses the toilet.

And what about Eric the Circle? Thats got to be the stupidest strip I’ve ever seen! No wonder Steve Skelton called it quits. And Piers Baker.

Shikamoo Premium Member over 11 years ago
cleo, I’m sorry you sprained your ankle. Make sure you rest it and ice it. Penny will have to put up with it if she wants you walking normally again.
Shikamoo Premium Member over 11 years ago
Fergus, Make sure you use the official State Frisbee. This is an onerous task, but one that must be carried out.
