Julian loves to be helpful. And Emma is rocking that polka dot dress!

Cleo looks kind of sad for the patron saint of romance. Maybe she is thinking about how things end, sometimes.

My interpretation of her expression is somewhat different from Dennis’….

For one thing, she might feel out of place…

She knows how to vamp her way around a movie set….

a sultry femme fatale in purplie eyeshadow…

and she loves to drive a tank, or bring down squirrels with an RPG or some dynamite.

Posing as an innocent little cherub, in a short dress and pink satin ribbons, probably feels a bit awkward.

 

I wondered whether she’s actually Cupid, cos I don’t see a bow or any arrows…

Then again…. do you trust Cleo with pointy objects?

I searched and searched, till I found a similar card…

This one has a human girl, so right off the bat it’s not as cute as the original Cleo version….

She doesn’t have a bow and arrows either… so maybe it’s not just cos it’s Cleo.

I don’t think Cleo worries about the end of romance….

cos, while she doesn’t seem very interested in the subject at all….

if she did fall in love, I think she wouldn’t allow any nonsense on the part of her beloved….

He’d have no say-so, as to the beginning or the end.

He’d be chosen, and he’d remain…. until or unless he was released.

 

Anyhow… Emma and Julian are waiting.

I think Julian is more excited than we are…..

While we nibble little sandwiches, and talk about Cleo, and Valentine’s Day…

He’ll be showing off his invention….

Probably bringing in one cookie or cup of tea at a time.

Cleo is flying home to get that heart shaped box of kibble for dinner tonight. Claude better not forget to give Clara that Valentines Day card, that box of chocolates and that invitation to go to a nice restaurant tonight. Well, unless he wants to sleep outside for the rest of the year. Happy Valentines day.
