Dean: Ok, so, a really, really long time ago (like 1968) there was this toy my Dad just had to have...It was the coolest action figure ever made: Sir Gordon, The Golden Knight! He came with all kinds of swords and armor and shields and stuff! Even had his own fully armored horse! Dad begged! He pleaded! He did household chores without even being told...But his Mom and Dad just didn't have the extra cash. See, back in the '60s, twenty dollars was a lot of green and kids didn't just get anything they wanted like they do today (or so Dad says). So his knight in plastic armor remained a dream. Flash forward to modern time! One day my Dad, now married with child (yours truly), is trolling the internet and he comes across one of those online auction sites. And what does he see? You guessed it! Sir Gordon, The Golden Knight, is up for action! Dad blinks! His hand trembles over the mouse as he moves the cursor to the "place bid" button...would he win the bidding war?! Would his dream of Sir Gordon charging across his carpet finally be realized? Would his childhood--- Heart: C'mon! Cut to the chase! Holy shamoley, and they say I'm dramatic! Dean's tales of my dad Today's episode: "Good Knight" part one. Next week: "A prize with a price!"
