Reminds me of my dog. Anytime I had somthing set in front of me I was reading/paying attention to, he would come along and just sit right down on it.

Yeah, my dog wants to play fetch the stick whenever I am gardening. A mite irratating!

My cats, “Calvin” and “Hobbes” love to sit on the keyboard when I’m trying to read my emails.

My cat finds my book a wonderful place to sleep.

My cat is jealous of my laptop because it means no lap for him.

Our cats just perched on our shoulders when we did our homework.

My cat takes great interest in the laptop. “What are we reading?” “You don’t actually need to see the screen when I curl up on your ample gut, right?” When I work at the desktop machine, like now, she’s usually happy to curl up at my feet, except when she jumps into the upper half of the cabinet to play with the sheet feeder on the printer or if I leave the lower cabinet open and she goes to play “tech support”, curling up with the internet hub and a nest of data lines and power cords.

cats are the leading cause of illiteracy. Book/paper sitting their hobby.

Any teacher who has a cat would completely understand and excuse him.

That is my dog ! very conflicted, needy and on meds.

@ readerlady: Your cat Boo looks like a black version of my Mua! He’s the one hiding under the mat. He is needy too and I love him to bits. Never used him as an excuse for unfinished work though. I should try that.
