Three days up in Walton County, GA., school has started. In three weeks, school starts here in Clayton County, GA.

School usually started for me the end of Sept. but now I graduated I just need to find a full time job and have no summer! My brothers and sisters go back around the 1st of Sept.

It is a tradition in my town to skip the first week of school. We have a 65% graduation rate. Hmmm?

If I were Heart, I’d clunk Dean on that spot again. Then he’d be all “Star Wars”-y again. Then hit him again about a week before the first day of school. THEN he’d write his “What I Did During Summer Vacation” essay.

Where I grew up (rural America) Grade school started after Labor Day but the Jr high and Senior high in town started one week before Labor Day then back to school the day after Labor Day…why not just hold off…I guess that would have been too SMART
