Mom, it was not wise of u to throw Calvin out of the house at the first place. You should have taken him with u all way to the bus stop, board him in the bus, tied him with the seat so that he can’t ran away at the next stop.
I get a kick out of all the parents/grandparents I pass standing at the end of the driveway with their 6th grader to keep them safe until the bus comes. If my own experience is any indication, the ride on the bus was far more dangerous than waiting for the bus :o
Calvin already knows they’ve locked down the school to keep him out, so he’s just off for other adventures. Now, with Calvin on the loose, the whole world is in peril.
What’s up with lazy Mom still in her robe when the kid is already off to school? It must be nice to laze about in a robe all day, sipping coffee and watching “Oprah”. Women had it made until feminism came along and forced most of them to become productive members of society. Now most are shackled by their own desires to own more stuff! I wonder how many secretly wish that they hadn’t fallen into the trap?
Walk this little fellow to the bus each morning
Make a deal with the bus driver to keep him on the bus
Then you start warning the school teachers
Or let him do what he wants
Lets give him the switch instead ?
JanCinVV - No bait. Just commentary on an archaic societal norm that for the large part, no longer exists. One income families with stay-at-home Moms getting near impossible to find. I have always believed that Women are entitled to equal rights if they want them. The question is why so many are willing to accept the demotion?
The schoolbus was a rough place for the little kids when my son was in school. The high school kids would pick on the elementary kids. I tried getting things changed through the school to straighten out the bus driver who didn’t care at all. Things would be better for awhile then they’d go right back to the way things were before. Finally one of the high school kids and his friends took my son under their wing and let him sit with them which kept the other kids away. I felt sorry for the other little ones and was happy when the bus driver was finally replaced and things got better!
Come on, Mom, 3 minutes in the woodshead would be all that it would take. That’s what my mother did to me when I acted that way and I love her today for it!
I said it before, & I’ll say it again: There is nothing wrong with today’s kids that a good, old-fashioned over-the- knee, pants-down spanking won’t cure real quick!!

You probably should of tied him up before throwing him out the door and untied him at the bus. You may seem crazy, but if it works, it works.

My son went to afternoon kindergarten from daycare. There was a sub at daycare one day who didn’t know who went to school. My son sent a ringer.

You’re only home free after they’ve locked the doors so that Calvin can’t get out before it’s time.
Otherwise the walking him to school and seeing him through the door will have been a waste of time.
