That’s the thing about Calvin and Hobbes, really. Despite all the drama and destruction, there usually is a happy ending. I think that’s why I liked the strip so much for so long.

YAY! I don’t mind telling you my heart’s been in my throat for a few days. This has to be the best series of the entire strip! Now there’s a nagging question — Why didn’t Hobbes jump out at Calvin when he checked his room? Surely that’s the first place he looked…unless of course Mom or Dad were with him. I agree with Grazer, we need to hear Hobbes version, and I ditto Dino…good night all!

Once in the woods and the one I was thinking of when he Calvin finds him having tea with Susie Derkins and Mr. Bunny. Any way, glad he’s well. Have a great day all!

It’s so neat reading all the cute sayings and how people felt. I felt that way the first few times I read this strip. My boy was (is) a Calvin and Hobbes nut, thus we have every book every produced with Calvin and Hobbes. And yet here I am re-reading it online. Gotta love it.

Thirdguy, You’re trying to take all the pun out of it. When my mother gets home, I’ll have to say, “Mother, may I?” Actually, my mother is home, with the Lord.

Puddleglum2 - I’m looking forward to seeing Him myself some day, but hopefully not too soon. Now Calvin’s parents get the joy of dealing with the police and their insurance company while Calvin and Hobbes get reaquainted. Love to see what Calvin’s mother has to say to the insurance company when they stiff arm her….
