You have to go to the airport 2 hours early. It will take 5 hours to get off the ground, 5 hours before you can get out of the plane and out of the arriving airport. Take a bus, it’s quicker.
Yes, and if you have to fly - send your luggage by UPS to be sure it will get to the same place and all intact. I always used to send my travel cage ahead, even when service was good.
When I was stationed in D.C., it was quicker to go to Union Station, catch the Montrealer, and get let off in my town than to drive to Dulles, check my bags, wait to board, fly, get my bags, drive 50 miles home. Besides, back then there was a piano in the club car.Guess I used to drink then

Drinks are better and cheaper on the train. I am waiting for our first high speed rail in California, wish we had done it years ago.
