Aw, it’s not that bad! The flight from Korea to LAX is 12 - 16 hours (depending on the wind and if Japan has erupted lately) and I’m not even going to count the flight from Shanghai to Korea or the flight from LAX to Denver, or the 3-hour bus ride, or the 4-hour car ride that’s required for me to visit my parents.
I’m glad that when I flew on business, flying was actually almost fun… I brought a concrete statue home from Chihuahua as a carry on item and Mexicana gave her a seat, while American put her in first class luggage (even though I was flying coach). What I MOST looked forward to was having empty seats next to me. Now my kids have to BEG me to fly.
