calvinand? - the choices not mentioned yet are “was misquoted,” “is a victim of society,” “is willing to cut a deal,” “has ‘found God,’” and (my personal favorite) “needs a hug, not jail time.”
If you will look directly above the daily cartoon, on the right, you will see a “view larger” icon. It’s still in the developmental stage with the site, so the resolution isn’t very good, but I understand they’re working on it.
I noticed many darts on that wall after he threw. He missed the spots on bulletin board. He should aim straight with one eye before he threw the last dart at.
Char, you’re comment reminds me of a Farside comic: A banner over a stage reads “Welcome Children of Functional Families”, and in the auditorium sits one lone person.
And Wiley, thanks for the heads up on the view larger. I’ll have to go back and see if the Pett editorial can be enlarged- the one with the enormous amount of detail visualizing Bush’s legacy.
That’s tomorrow’s cartoon. Canadian papers print the Sunday color cartoons on Saturdays, as your Saturday papers are what the Sunday papers are in the U.S.. You’ll see it posted here tomorrow.
Perhaps not as funny, but two options left out are, “He didn’t actually do it,” and “Even the guilty are human beings with rights that must be taken into account.”
foxglove16: I have a similar cartoon posted in my office. It’s by Jennifer Berman and shows 2 people in attendance at the “Adult Children of Normal Parents Annual Convention”. Definitely brilliant.
calvinandquestionmark, Char, and massha, in addition to the methods Mr. Wiley and others have mentioned, you can try these keyboard shortcuts:
Press the Ctrl key and the + key down to enlarge the screen – you can do this more than once to keep enlarging.
Press the Ctrl key and the - key to reduce the screen, again more than once will keep reducing.
Press the Ctrl key and the 0 (number zero, NOT letter O) to return the screen to the normal size.
