She speaks the truth. Good behavior makes you invisible. To the mass media. Though behaving too well can attract psychiatrists.

Always behaving yourself means no one ever suspects you when you pull a real lulu in the “bad” department. It’s like saving up for a rainy day - or that moment when you just can’t stop yourself from punching a bully in the nose, no one ever believes him that it was you who decked him!

The theory gives me hope since I’ve noticed nobody ever seems to notice me.

Does this explain why people keep bumping into me? I’m invisible? Or are they doing it because I’m so visible?
