Tracy left out the Pig on Wheels. I’m sure he’s one of the good guys!

I believe he was dealing in the sale of illegal arms. Then he stated that he paid his (illegal) customers the money he owed them and was released from prison. That’s when he set out to find Ringo (who was in the FBI Witness Protection Program) “hiding” in the circus as ringmaster.

This is taking an extremely long time. I did enjoy the art today though. So no complaints.

I feel like a tremendous burden has been lifted from my shoulders. A long, dark, cold winter has burst into spring. I was born blind but now I can see. I was lost, but now I’m found. The evil king has been deposed, and the Prince of Summer has taken his throne. It’s 6 AM, and Starbucks has opened its doors.

It’s a shame that Dick Tracy is no longer on the airwaves. The Pig on Wheels would have made a swell radio premium.

VistaBill - Good recap. I guess we could say that violating the purpose of the Witless (in this case) Protection Program, especially for planning a murder, might be a federal crime. Doty could be right. Hmmm.

WOW! Over in the Editorial Comics section Dick Locher has his first colored cartoon just like recent Annie and Brenda Starr daily strips. Today’s is with Karzai of Afganistan.

Off screen a voice comes “It’s time for you to clean up corruption in your Government”.

And he replies (with palm out): “For that, I’ll need to greese the right palms”.

Can I be forgiven for “suspecting” this might also be a convenient “sotto voce” hint to TMS that more “sheckles” are needed to remove the decay and stultifying banalities that are now part and parcel of Dick Tracy ?

Don’t mind that it was the burden of his “innovative” changes, that made it so !

that last line was like one of sargent joe friday’s clever, ironic lines in ‘dragnet’

so, of course, following the last panel, we should hear:

In Trinidad they call it mauvais langue (Fr), from Mr.Pops (i.e. bad tongue, ill speaking someone) - no* real evidence *!

But ridenslide65 puts his finger on the real reason, “sloppy work”, with Locher just making things up as he goes along !

That’s what all of this has been about?

I don’t know if I care to go through another DT installment after this one. We’ve had two in recent history (the robots and now this one) where Tracy spent much of his time crying out in terror while bad guys/robots did their thing around him. Thanks heaps, oh master detective, but I don’t need your help to scream. In the next storyline, I half expect the Pig on Wheels to have it in for Tracy, and this time Tracy hides in the barn while screaming in terror that he’s sure going to die this time.

What happened to the Ransom Notes?

Who sent the “blackmail” notes to Ringo? Pops?

So, they were blackmailing the blackmailer and killing each other who gets to kill Ringo?

What was the real motive for killing Lousy Trapeze? To prevent her from killing Ringo or to reduce the value of the props?

Pops went from international arms trade to murdering for a Pig on Wheels?

Della and Fifi must have lied to the cops - they knew about the notes and Pops and all - how is that respecting the police? Everyone at the circus should be charged with obstructing justice.

The editorial cartoon makes sense - DL sent us a four month Ransom Note: “pay me more money or this tiger stays hungry!”

If this was not as bad as it can get, I fear for the future.

Wait a minute–So Barb Els was in love with Mr. Pops but Louise Trapeze also loved him so Bar Bels shot her.–Federal agent Enen was involved because Mr Pops was a member of the Taliban.So Ringo bought New Jersey and put a circus there because it was a great match. And now we know also that Barb Els was actually Rosie O’Donnell- NOW it’s all starting to fall in place-Very clever-Very clever indeed.
