This seemed familiar to me; I thought it was done once by Chas Addams. Which is not to say that Rubin copied it. A quick search for the “original” Addams version turned up this interesting discussion instead:

Awwwww, even DEATH has a soft spot for animals - at least for vultures, anyway. I would advise that old guy feeding the pigeons to move, though……
I don’t know Ushindi, those chickens don’t look to be cooked, and that could lead to salmonella.
