And no one asked, when Brewster announced the end of the world to the crew, “How do you know that the world is ending?”

And they call Brewster dumb….

They all trust Brewster, Johanan. He’s taken them all the way to hell and back, after all. As for Dr. Mel…Brewster has just said, “Women and children get top priority to be saved!” The good doctor may be a bit kinky, but this was purely a survival response. It probably would have worked.

I don’t think they thought it was 2012.Brewster saw that his calendar ran out at the end of 2009 and he thought it was the end of the world, as some think will be the case because the Mayan calendar runs out in 2012. Pam shows him a 2010 calendar to prove that the world won’t end at the end of 2009.
