    The problem is that the pharmaceutical companies go after the symptoms instead of the cause of the problem. Kind of like jamming a big stick into some noisy gears to get them to quiet down. It quiets the gears, but who knows what this will do to the rest of the machine. That is what side effects are.

    It’s just like the consultant principle. If you’re not part of the cure, there’s money to be made in prolonging the disease…

    My former doctor prescribed prednisone, ativan, levaquin, advair, and zyrtec-d for a sinus infection. I lost half a month “getting better.” So, yeah, too true.
