This son of whose father is in the education game is STILL as confused as the teacher with Zack and friend speaking in text to each other. Dang these secret codes!
I bet Samuel F.B. Morse had his telegraph prototypes taking away when he was in school when the teacher was teaching.
Louis Braille, on the other hand, never gave up. His code still lives on. Sure the seeing can’t understand it, but the seeing-impaired sure can.
The gripes about Twitter cartoons are already as hackneyed as the cartoons themselves.
What’s supposed to be different about this storyline
is it’s about a situation that’s had teachers tearing
their hair out ( if they have any left ) for a few years now.
“New” technologies are always threatening to somebody’s
convenience level - in this case, the teacher’s - until they’re
finally assimilated as an indispensable necessity.

OK. What do their texts mean, or are they just playing with the teacher?

But, I couldn’t fit all that in the cartoon.
