I don’t see how a woman who is brave enough to leave all she’s ever known and move to a remote village is so scared of a spider.

Oh, come on, it’s just a regular garden-variety spider. Nothing to panic over.

Our family cat back in the 70s would sometimes catch and eat crickets.
