Why are women so quick to defend each other for letting themselves go after having children? My wife looks fantastic after having children, but it was hard work for her; we both maintain a disciplined eating plan and exercise while her girlfriends overindulge and are sedentary. We’re teaching our children that just because you have a family you don’t have to become a blob.
My wife has a terrific, sculpted figure and she is in her 50’s, has two grown children and has had a spinal cord injury that has forced her to quit skiing and hiking. She now does yoga and still bikes. Even with challenges and the need to walk with a cane hasn’t stopped her from staying in shape.
ryanasimov: Women give each other slack because oftentimes before the kids came, we didn’t have to work for the figure. Suddenly having to put effort into what was always there just sucks. :) :) :)
So many little swimsuits advertised which will ‘fix your figure flaws’… how do they manage that if the problem is cottage-cheese thighs, varicose veins and batwing arms???
On Fox News yesterday they were showing a “Behind the Red Carpet” on how celebrities get ready for the Big Night: Starvation Diets, body -shaper spandex undies, and some even bind themselves with Duct Tape (the 1002nd use!). Then they squeeze into those borrowed designer originals!

Elly, you should buy a girdle before you buy that swimsuit.

Elly is a very small woman. All she has is a tiny gut!

is that any relation to “behind the green door?” (that was a rhetorical question….)
