Maybe abducted by an alien and returned? I have a friend who swears her children were abducted when they reached age 13. LOL

I’m with dead-eye-bill; he’s been through the week of taking Elly’s position with kids, this is a breeze by comparison–and it may get him out of another such week!

simple: takes one to know one. There is no correct answer to the last question. Could be he didn’t want her to know what he just spilled.

When my husband helps with house work I never question. Just give him a big kiss and say “thank you sweetie for helping”. We’ve been married for 46 years.

That should be nice thoughful for John to wash the floor in the kitchen for Elly. Elly would not feel a lot of guilty. :-]

Back when I first married, I thought I would do a good deed for my wife and wash the dishes for her. Well after I finished, she came along and re-washed all of them again. That was 42 years ago. I haven’t wash a dish since. An to my eyes I did a good job on the dishes. But, she didn’t think so. Goes to show you, let her wash them in the first place. And you can set an watch television.

What little bit my husband does, I keep my mouth shut about how he does it! I learned a long time ago, “don’t sweat the small stuff! There’s bigger “stuff” out there!

arceedee Hope you see this! Got your message! Thanks! We think we have all the time in the world, and as you said, each stage, especially our youth and our kids youth, passes so quick! I shall miss him when he spreads his wings!
