Hey I love all her work…and this is my second time around… Connie is some one we can relate to some were along the lines of our own life’s.. Give the lady a break…
Aw come on…this IS a cartoon soap opera! Nothing more, nothing less.
We all relate to something in this strip, that’s why we all read it daily.
That’s why I kept reading it after the “big changeover”. Brings up another thought: Why is everyone trying to parallel the new with the old? It’s Lynn’s strip and she can change anything she wishes in this “new” version.
Just sit back and enjoy, or go find others to read.
Connie, just remember that the ecstasy he was giving you was also being given to other women. If the man couldn’t be faithful to you, what good was he?
So Connie had a brief romance with some Brazilian guy, and that was Lawrence’s dad, and then she was married to Pete? So how did Pete accept Lawrence? How long was Connie married to Pete?
Agree, you don’t like, no one’s pushing it on you. Move on! Also, I’d like to know more about Connie, Micheal’s dad and her husband, maybe I missed something. I am a grandmother, and am grateful to start over since I only found FBFW about 8 years ago, and was and am able to laugh at myself with glee.
I am a big fan of FBoFW, and I will continue to be so. People don’t need to freak out if someone complains about the way a storyline is going. I personally think this storyline is dragging, and I am aloud to express that, thank you very much. If you don’t like it, stop reading (the comments).
forumpdc, go to fborfw.com and click on EXPLORE MORE at the top tabs, then WHO’S WHO, and then choose a character. There is a nice bio of Connie there.
It’s tough to forget the ecstasy. I had a relationship back in the 70’s that was incredilbly satisfying. I still think about that time, but even with those pleasant thoughts, I have someone in my life now who meets those times past, plus provides more. No, I still think about those past moments, but hey I’m a guy. Nothing can compare to the past memories, so you create new memories that are every bit as good. And, there is nothing wrong about reliving the past as long as it doesn’t interfere with the present.
For all you naysayers, here is what I have to say. Today this strip is especially poignant for me. A year ago my husband left me for another woman who could give him kids. So Im like her, I wish I could forget the good times, would make it alot easier. So each strip from day to day is different to another person.

He must have done a pretty good job of providing the ecstasy.

If we are lucky, maybe she’ll date a serial killer. Will anyone put her out of our misery?

How long has this story gone on? Has it really only been four days?

Apparently, some folks don’t care to hear anything bad about their soaps.

Connie’s hair is blonde till she gets old and I remember she had facelift surgery to keep herself very young in her age. Oh well!

Wow! There must be at least fifty other ways to repeat this same tired comic strip.
Somebody wake me up when we move on. Even potty training the dog was less boring than this.
