Whenever I hear “We’re bored. There’s nothing to do”, I pull out the vacuum and the Windex. They find something to do really fast after that.

I learn real fast never to tell mom I was bored. she always said “I’m sure I can think of something for you to do” with a mischievous look on her face. the one time I said “like what” I spent the day pulling weeds

Hey, I wonder if that’s “Ned” laying in the sandbox in yesterday’s strip?

best way for an adult to motivate children: “I’ll put you to work.” LOL They disappear quickly then.

John, why are you using such ‘four letter’ words in front of the children?

I guess every parent does this. My mom sure did. Sometimes I didn’t have to say I was bored, just look like I was and she would tell me to dust the furniture.

Since this is a Canadian comic, and Canada’s bilingual, why not count to twenty in French, Michael?

    Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq…

“bored” always got my creative side juicing up when I was young … unfortunately, it was my creative side that also got me into a lot of trouble when I was young too. LOL!

Nothing gets the kids moving quicker then the thought of busting their rears.

I guess I’ll finish it since yyyguy added on.

…onze, douze, treize, quatorze, quinze, seize, dix-sept, dix-huit, dix-neuf, VINGT!

There, Michael. Don’t you feel better already?

Whether my kids are fighting, bored, or being just plain obnoxious, somehow that always reminds me of some work they could be doing instead…
