That was sweet. Siblings looking out for each other. My oldest has been known to jump on the nurse when the younger one is getting a shot. We have to hold down two kids for one shot.

I’m almost 50 and my “big brother” still thinks he has to look out for me.

I’m thinking looking at the 5th panel she was headed for the bathroom and didn’t make it in time. Michael aided with a cover-up.

that’s why I’ve always loved this strip. My daughter and son were the same age when Lynn first started. The antics were so similar between brother and sister I took the paper just to see them everyday.

Now my kids are in their 30’s and big brother is still there for his baby sister!

snakemama, that IS Liz in the sprinkler. Her hair is wet so it looks straight like Michael’s. The water made her curls stick to her head. I thought it was him at first, too.

He can be seen, in silhouette, playing in the back ground, in the sand box.

I have a younger sister and we both give each other a hard time. Plus our mom. Dad’s been gone for 10 years.

I’m with you, Joe. The sprinkler is a good idea, but I bet there will still be some tell-tale signs that Mom will figure out. This type of “accidnet” is very common at Lizzie’s age and even older.

My oldest still does that kind of stuff for her sister. I love the chemistry they have, and they could pull something like that on me, and I wouldn’t mind!
