I’ve seen the ones that were new at one time. They’re old and TATTERED now.

Another sad case of claws and effect.

Jon should know better than to buy new curtains. He should expect Garfield to do this.

Dearly beloved, we are pleated here together, to mourn the passing of the curtains, that gathered in the centre of this window.

Garfield had a heavy week end.

Wooden blinds! Cats can’t claw them. (They can, however, and do chew up the cords into little pieces.)

Can they still be called curtains?

One of the cats we adopted from the shelter had been declawed, but he tried to climb the drapes anyway. Funniest thing I ever saw!

Curtains sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond. New.

The curtains are put as refurbished on Ebay after being in a house for a week, because they are too small for the window.

At the next home, they stay in that house for a year, and then sell it on Craigslist as used.

Jon buys these curtains, and 1 hour later donates them to Value village as “Really used”

So that’s why they do it.

Garfield should have a pole with carpet cover so he can claw or scratch on it.

It’s funny to watch a cat attempt to do something after it’s declawed and you have to laugh because you know it can’t damage anything with it’s claws now. But beware a cat hates to be laughed at and it will find another way to get even.

Anyone notice how Garfield’s body changes shape depending on how he stands? In the first and second panels, he’s very anthropomorphic. He still is in the last panel, yet his legs take on a more catlike shape and his belly hangs to the floor.

Don’t get me started on when he lays down…
