Let’s see. Feed rather small (but tasty) animals in the same place all year. Spend all you vacation building stands and maintaining feeders. Pay someone else to work for you so you can sit up in the freezing cold and shoot something the size of a medium size dog with your $1,500 rifle as it returns to your feeding station. (It can be accurate at hundreds of yards. The deer, of course, is a few feet away.) Tag the deer with a tag from your fairly expensive hunting license. Cart it to the processor and give him a fair portion of the meat for packaging it. Take it home and enjoy your $175 per pound venison. It would be a lot more sporting to just mug a butcher.
That is anything but manly sport. It’s Cruel!! That deer is tied up!the only reason to kill anything is if you are hungry and can’t get food any other way.If the food benefits are taken away, Then we Will see more poaching. LOL
