Transcript:
Jason: I can't believe I have to watch "A Christmas Carol" on TV for school tonight of all lousy nights! Peter: What's wrong with tonight? Jason: Mom's making her garlic, green pepper and tofu chili for dinner. Peter: Ah. The meal of a thousand nightmares. Jason: I shudder to think what kind of weird dreams I'll be having. Jacob Marcusly: So how do you like this new operating system? Jasonezer: Bah dumb bugs.

The Spanish one is working….anyone know Spanish?
mrsroche3 about 15 years ago
It’s something about the fact that he has to write a Christmas story for school and his mother made garlic green peppers and tofu for dinner. He knows it’s going to give him nightmares and the last panel says something about a new operating system. I hope they get this fixed soon so I can completely understand it. Babelfish doesn’t always translate well.

Eleven comments so far (this is the twelfth) for a comic that does not exist! Maybe Dick Tracy could try this sometime?

If you hold it up to a mirror, it’s completely clear!
JacaByte about 15 years ago
I think somebody scanned a hair instead of the comic.
Karl Hiller about 15 years ago
Not to worry. I just stretched it out to the right proportions in Photoshop. Problem solved! – http://bit.ly/4ZhdRB
wbtthefrog about 15 years ago
Right proportions, but then you need to do the Magic-Eye thing to read the comic. Clever strip, Bill! You’re way ahead of DARPA’s red balloon network challenge.
BananaSlug about 15 years ago
Wait, wait! It’s some sort of hidden message! Gimme a few minutes to decode it!
…
!!! Uh, wow… Move along…

Excellent work, Kreniigh, but even tho I am normally very quick to see Magic Eye images, I can’t make sense of this one. Does anyone here actually see the 3-D image?
SGIBeachbum about 15 years ago
Only nerds and geeks can see it. Just like the Emporer’s new coat.
svarga about 15 years ago
Wow, a whole blog about nothing, and I even read them all!! Scary…..
rayannina about 15 years ago
Yeah, it’s like a “Seinfeld” episode … only funny.
alfracto about 15 years ago
Well, at least it makes more sense than Sarah’s new book!
legaleagle48 about 15 years ago
Check again, people. It works just fine for me.
I_go about 15 years ago
@mrsroche3 try GOOGLE translate. They do a pretty good job.
TravelerMarjorie about 15 years ago
Try hitting the refresh button, it worked for me finally!
alfracto about 15 years ago
As I said, the book is humbug.
josh_bisbee about 15 years ago
I see it.
Anyways, Jason must be trying to use Windows Vista.
mulder42 about 15 years ago
I usually read this on my Yahoo! Comics page, but I just got a big black line. Glad to see it showed up here in GoComics. :)

chinook2 about 15 years ago
Ray C: what do you mean???
PS: this is comment #36
Ray_C about 15 years ago
chinook2: Earlier, all that was visible was a black blur at the top of the panels, and there were eleven comments on it at the time. Referring to Dick Tracy: some days it would be better just to put up a black smear and let people talk about that rather than the actual strip. “It’s a Dick Tracy comic thing.”
JacaByte about 15 years ago
Hah, I got it to work. I see now; you need to take the .part of the end of the comic’s file name in order to see it. http://img21.yfrog.com/img21/1254/hucbbtg.gif
