I’m going to rush right out to a scrap dealer and buy a new doorhandle for my 2000 Sienna and keep her for another ten years. She’ll be so happy, her windshield washers will be spraying like fountains.

I guess “after-market” parts is a form of survival.

Like yesterday - this is EARTH. It’s AN R2 unit (or maybe an R3, they’re quite similar), not R2-D2. Artoo is from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. This is in the not-so-distant future, orbiting our planet.

Of course, not enough people nitpick as much as I do, so I guess it might as well be Artoo and WALL-E.

Is the robot on the left “The Iron Giant”? - Not sure if maybe he was the one who got part-snatched.

Hey, with all the fictional characters out of work because of the recession, they are willing to do a little walk on and pick up a few bucks. They need these cameos just to make ends meet…

Whardin1960, the robot on the left is Killbot. Dr. Mel has used him in several “experiments”.
