It’s never the one you see coming that gets you.

What he says rings true. The old animated cartoons were light years ahead of the dross they show on tv today. The older they are the better they were drawn and the funnier they were.

Bugs? Daffy? Wylie? My buds. And the music was better, too.

I agree. The old Warner Bros. cartoons were the best. On with the show, this is it.

Mythbusters tried that one too, and it didn’t work. I once slipped on a banana peel. Didn’t see it coming, and no, I didn’t fall down, either :D

Besides Warners, there were some wonderful old animation studios. Disney’s early stuff of course, but Walter Lance had some great characters too (Woody Woodpecker, Droopy). Ah, those were great Saturday mornings…..

So the banana peel trick is just a cartoon gag? And dad is old. Hmm.

I learned to love classical music courtesy of Warner Bro’s cartoons.

Recently learned how to open a banana the way the chimps do it. Takes about a second and a half and no fighting with the stem to break the skin. Be glad to pass on the method to anyone who wants it.
