Locally there are many unofficial pancake days for all different charities. Those and spaghetti dinners (which we had when I was younger) are great for fundraising because you feed many people with little resources. As I now eat only healthy food and try to stay away from all white flour, sugars etc, I do not participate in that. I have sometimes shared my recipes with others (I like to encourage others to eat healthy) and my free samples are well recieved, but my recipes are so packed with nutrients that it is pricey to share my food with someone who may just continue to eat junk right after.

Pancake day takes place in early spring between England and KS. I’ll pass on pancake day especially in drawers.

The last time I made pancakes in my drawers I had to run ’em through the wash three times before they came out clean.

The moral of the story: Don’t do anything in front of your young children that you don’t want the whole neighbourhood to know about!
