there is a LOT of stuff going on in this single panel. Julie spent a ton of time putting this together; that’s why it was a little tough to find a hook
Burl is but a speed bump on their journey from truck stop to truck stop… they’ll reach Jellystone Park by July where they can plug in for a while. Hey happy Anniversary Mikie2!
I am with Burl on this one…… Also feel hook is hanging from hat…………. but by minivan is also possible….. What does HTM stand for in " HTM Motor Coaches "…???
I agree Monty. Mr. Harris makes these motor coaches. He can well afford to pay for gas and all the other things he’s dragging along on his trek. Well done Julie!
Totally funny, and rather typical. I have many friends who do camping (usually in simpler fashion), but at my age, I stay at hotels when attenting an event (even though bedbugs etc are now a concern).

Haven’t you always admired Burl’s amazing tact — his social graces, his …his… subtle finesse? No, me neither.

But he DOES have a point. I know it’s a huge industry with a large following; I just don’t understand it!. Has anyone heard from Lord Darryl?

Maybe they sold what they had to buy this big r v; so that now it is their home.

Hook is above the pencil-drawn minivan in the upper left quadrant.

By the way, that’s expensive gas. I haven’t seen it that high yet this year. $4 is close to the highest. Down to about $3.60 now I think.

It’s very rare when Burl is the smartest guy in the strip. Usually HE’s the doofus.

Maybe the Harris family is afraid of getting hotel bed bugs or sleep in the same bed Burl has been in
