Lila’s doenst have a small brain, it is extreemly complex, it just has a fixation on certain issues and an inability to worry about other more important things than shoes, bags and clothes
I don’t think she’s being dumb. She’s just saying that that’s her dad’s personality. He doesn’t speak or move much. I’m guessing he’s a big TV couch potato. lol
Does Lila have a sister? If so, wording it “Are you his daughter Lila?” would avoid the “goof” label. If not, sorry John, I can’t help. Not knowing the family situation, I gave the doc the benefit of the doubt until I read the comments.
@3hrtour – As MY Dad would have said, call me S.S., call me Susan, just don’t call me late for dinner. (Anybody still wonder why I have a cornball sense of humor?) Hmm… Actually I don’t think he’d have liked being called Susan. Can I call call you 3 hr?
And yeah, thanks Stoic, and it’s OK, JWF – I didn’t catch it either. Even if there WERE more than one sister, he didn’t have to say “daughter” unless, very oddly, there were two siblings with the same name and there was some sexual ambiguity, in which case it would still be rude.

I took it for sarcasm. Is that overestimating Lila?

Are they going to introduce star ratings here at Gocomics? I want to rate today’s strip at 6 stars out of 5.

It’s a comic strip. If there isn’t a joke, there isn’t much point to it.

Don’t laugh, a lot of patients or relatives don’t know what a stroke is, and they need to be educated.
