Andy: What movie are you going to see? Paige: "The Patriot" Andy: What?! Absolutely not! Paige, that movie is rated "R" for reason! It's violent and bloody and full of sadistic cruelty I don't want you seeing at your age! No way! No how! Not a chance, young lady! Nicole: I'd suggest "The perfect storm" but I think we just saw it. Paige: Complete with spray.

I woke up yesrerday and said “I think I’ll become an alcoholic/drug abuser by choice.” No I didn’t, it happened. Now I have to do some work and try to stop it. Becoming a drunk wasn’t the sin, not bothering to try to fix it is. I accept what I am, I don’t accept what it makes me do.

Excellent point!

Jack, it’s not idiotic to refuse to distribute money to jerks. As it happens, around the same time as this strip, Huey and Caesar in “The Boondocks” were sneaking in to see “The Patriot” after buying tickets to “Scary Movie.”

In other words, no one under the age of eighteen is allowed into an R-rated film without their parents, and even then, they need proper photo id, too.

Both of those movies were excellent! And I always have to stop and think. I mix “The Perfect Storm” up with “Storm of the Century” another EXCELLENT movie, though I guess that one would be considered a horror flick kind of, but it is SO GOOD!

No Paige, The Perfect Storm will leave you feeling much wetter! And somewhat seasick…

When it comes to celebrities, they particulary enjoy the perks that come with the job – I have a bigger soapbox so my private opinons will be heard. But they complain when the same visibility is applied to their private lives.

I think that last incident made him uninsurable. His new film, The Beaver, cost $24 million but made only around $1 million back.

I agree. I watch Mel Gibson’s movies because I enjoy his stuff and he is a good actor. {cute too} I pay no attention to all the garbage about what he is supposed to have said, that someone wanted to count as anti-some group or other. If someone wishes to stop watching his [or anyone’s] movies, it’s their loss.

But not all war movies are rated R. Midway is set in the middle of WWII and its only rated PG.

My favorite Mel Gibson movie, besides the Lethal Weapons was Signs and Braveheart. Loved Signs the most. Love all his movies, though I didn’t see The Passion. And this new one? Never even heard of that one.
