Arbitrator: So you both agree that this town isn't big enough for the two of you. Well, I think that shows we're making progress here... Mediation at the O.K. Corral
How did OK Corral get into it? The Clanton/Earp battle took place in a vacant lot next door to C.S. Fly’s photographic studio. Real western flavor there!
Fly was also an early photojournalist and took a lot of news photos in that era, including Crook’s negotiations with Geronimo in Mexico – with glass plate negatives in the wilderness no less.
DF – Too bad we aren’t allowed to “Fire ’em all” anymore with so many people out of work. Just kidding, but do get fed up whining of the employed! At least they have money coming in and probably fantastic benefits! Pardon the rant.
Maybe we DO need to go back to “Hamilton-Burr Conflict Resolution”. It would be interesting to see how many “hawks” would turn dove if facing the wrong end of a barrel— themselves.
Irving.Big, fat Irving.Big sissy Irving. The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West..
A hundred and forty-one could draw faster than he,But Irving was looking for one forty-three.Walked into Sol’s Saloon like a man insane,And ordered three fingers of two cents plain.

Wiley is one of the few cartoonist to draw his characters with five fingers (or four fingers and a thumb). Wonder why.

I see… So the commencement of hostilities is progress. I believe I see a Fatal Flaw in her reasoning.

Reminiscent of the current postal strike going on in Canada right now.

The gunfight wasn’t all that Hollywood makes us believe. I think DoC Holliday also had a rap sheet.

If “pro-” means “going forward”, and “Con-” means “to go backwards”, It’s GOTTA make you wonder about Progress and Congress…

Looks like a couple of soverign citizens to me. They want to control the town without assuming the responsibilities involved in owning the town.
