    Never lost a tent due to wind. But then having 2 people, both food coolers backkpacks and tying that it to trees, boulders and anything else helped. It was a very windy night, only a few tenters survived still upright by morning.

    a tent with a bottom works…with all the stuff insdie, that tent can’t go anywhre. and you are dry!

    A tent with an integral floor is impossible to keep clean. If the poles collapse, the water will wick through the fabric and get you wet anyway.
