I see there’s a new artist.

So any info on why?

A new artist? Again? Agggh. Basset, you hound.

Hate to say it, but this artist is TERRIBLE!!!

Yeah. Adam’s looking a little zombie-like today.

Woof, not good. I assumed the lack of color was supposed to be movie-theater like, but even then it’s kinda lame. Not up to Adam standards at all.

Bring back the old artist!

what is going on with the art in this thing?

Maybe he’s experimenting with a different style.

It’s Phil Dunlap’s work from Ink Pen. Next week it’ll be the artist from Barkeater Lake.

I guess we just need to keep repeating it – “For those who mention that the characters don’t look the same, guest artists are drawing the toon for a time due to a surgery.”

People really are awful. The artist is hurt. Somebody’s helping him out. Have a shred of compassion.

There’s no point in explaining the guest artist thing — there are a lot of geniuses here who are too lazy to read the existing comments before posting their own. I’m sure by the end of today there will be another 20 asking why it looks different…

Judging by the size of that drink, I don’t think Katy’ll make it to the bottom before she has to go! That cup’s bigger than her stomach and bladder combined!!

I wanna know whose running that theater? Previews are suppose to be ten to fifteen minutes long…not an HOUR long! That’s how you lose both customers AND money.

Good luck with the surgery and the recovery, Brian! Obviously you are missed. :)

Hey, all. Rob Harrell here. I want to say a HUGE thanks to Phil Dunlap for filling in on the strip for me this week, and Corey Pandolph for taking the reins next week. They are filling in for me because I am a klutz who managed to break my leg a few weeks ago…by merely standing up out of a chair…in a tux, no less! It was a nasty break that required surgery, and Phil and Corey are allowing me some much needed time to get back to work.I think it’s a lot of fun seeing what these two amazing cartoonists are doing with the characters. I can say from experience that taking over the art on a strip is a thankless task… so THANK YOU, guys. You truly rock.

Get well soon Rob! The strip has become a must read since you took over!

AS LONG AS THIS REALLY IS A TEMPORARY ARTIST. Adam@Home was already ruined years ago when the new artist took over from the original. It became ‘Hi and Lois.’

I’m enjoying the interpretations of the strip’s characters by different artists. In any case, I’m wishing Rob a speedy recovery—new artists or not.

Rob, get well soon! You had to suffer complaints when you took over, so you truly get it. Just wanted to say, you do a great job on the strip – I never miss it.

Wanna get back the usual artist. This one is lousy!
