Richard T., I know that you based Petey on yourself. Who is Alice based on?

I didn’t know Dill was bi-lingual.

Maybe Andre and Petey can provide help where Dill is providing annoyance!

Petey’s got the right idea. But hopefully he’ll take Dill & Alice with him before she does something stupid.

Watch out Dill…your making Alice madder than that wasp!

Fantastic Alice in the second panel but kind of an odd meet up between her nose and Dill’s in panel three. As for the wasp and or wasp/Dill, I agree with Petey. Best to move on.

I wish Alice would make up a little song for the wasp dance.

Help! it’s the Mad Wasp of Manhole Heights!

And so began Dill’s lifetime career in the world of dance.

Doesn’t anybody have a slingshot? Or a handful of mulch? You know what’s good for taking out a wasp? A wiffleball bat!

Hey, Margueritem, Petey is some (mostly the worst) of me and Alice is the best and worst of several people, and some of me too. Nobody in the strip is drawn directly from one person, which keeps the awkward questions from friends and family to a minimum.

In the second panel, look how the sound effect rises and falls, with the letter “T” accented for extra attack. Brilliant.

This is another one for the archives, like looking at the fish with eyeballs. Next time I find myself in an interaction I want to get out of, or even just an awkward pause in the conversation, I know exactly what to do! Have you ever seen a mad wasp?-Cougar :{)

I’ve seen a mad wasp. I’ve also seen a mad Alice. Mad Alice is scarier.

I Love Dill! He never fails to find the fellow eccentric in me.
