Looking on the Rip Haywire website I see the archives start on 7/6/2008. So even if there’s that extra week of strips separating the website and GoComics, and even though the comic didn’t begin being published until January 5, 2009 … I’m going to say “Happy Three Years of Rip Haywire to you Mr. Dan Thompson.” And may you have many more.

R.J. will be in the next story! Rip Haywire will be 3 this coming January as far as actually strips beginning to run. I just sent off the finished Rip Haywire graphic novel to IDW so all 104 pages of non-stop action and adventure with humor is in the can! Yippeee, and thanks for the anniversary wishes!

Wonder what it would be like if Rip, Cobra, R.J. and TNT moved to the big city? And hey, is it me, or has Fawn’s lantern jaw become a big less lantern-y? Anyway, don’t tell me, let me guess: Big Whoop is now a national park and the Haywire family will be rangers running the joint? :-)
