So Real Jen and Mary-Sue Jen are about to have it out. Yet the focus of the strip has shifted to Donna instead of Mona recently. I guess after they have their fight, Mona has a new thing to hate besides sorority girls, UZLA, creepy stalkers, men, Lucas, her family, psychiatrists, Raoul, Pierre, and Donna: herself. It’s strange that a comic strip has so many good supporting characters around to pick up the slack of a main character as weak as Mona.
Donna, you live together, you’re practically sisters, HIT HER. I would and I have a wonderful relationship with one of my two sisters, and the other one I don’t hit.

Now, Mona, stop teasing! Donna is making a real, and difficult-for-her, effort to do something worthwhile!

Oh, come on. “Cheap” is clearly a joke. Donna opened the door and issued an engraved invitation to Mona on that one.

And Mona dated herself with the Ed McMahon ref. But that’s OK, I date myself by getting it! Ayooooo!

Dating yourself is a whole lot better than dating Ed McMahon.

A bit surprised Donna used the word “veritable.” She actually knows what that word means???
