What does your kid get from you, or what do you get from your parents?

I got my mom’s bipolar. But I don’t have children, so I didn’t pass it on.

I got my Moms high cheekbones and my Dads frustration with my Mom

I got my mother’s looks, to a degree… I cut my hair differently and plan on getting a tattoo. No offense to my mom, because she was wonderful in some ways, but I DON’T want to be like her in most ways. And my dad? I don’t really know if I got anything from my dad… maybe my eyes and my sense of sarcasm.

I got my dad’s skinny butt and slender legs. I got my mom’s looks and nearsightedness. Unfortunately neither one of the passed on their artistic talents – they skipped a generation to my son.

Wow, good answer! That works all the way around!

Diabetes, high blood pressure, bad eyes, high cholesterol. The family tree stops with me.

I got my dad’s charm and my mom’s biting sense of humor!

We have adopted our children. Son gets my love of cooking and being organic; daughter is also a wonderfully creative cook. All I have to do is remind her of “eggs from Hell” and she laughs. She used to put every spice she could think of into that mix and the house (and her breath) would always remind us! LOL

All My kids got everything from my hubby… lucky them. Would hate to pass ALL this on to them

Kids got their dad’s good teeth and bad vision (and Latin coloring) and my more delicate features and artistic talents.
