Additionally, if you look too quickly, since he wrote Chapter in the singular tense, the five translates in your brain to an “S”, thus making the multiple chapters make more grammatical sense. No wonder she wrote it down that way—I would’ve too!

Hey, we don’t all flub up that way. But yeah, that was a pretty poor way of stating it, Sr. Fogarty. I can’t blame Luann on this one.

I thought he meant chapter 5, pages 6-9…which would be more in keeping with the second day of school—except how did they get to chapter 5 already?
