No, Frank is interested. He’s just commenting on the ups and downs of TJ’s life as Nancy is relating them to him. It is rather rapid-fire in this strip, which is why Frank is bouncing back and forth so quickly. That last part, I think Frank still has some uncertainty about TJ. TJ has been both responsible and irresponsible in recent months. Sometimes it’s hard to know which one you’re going to get until he actually says what’s on his mind.
