    This is not wrong on all accounts. Do some research before you criticize…Giraffe, camels, brown bears, horses and cats “pace” using the same lateral motion of left side then right side. The “Giraffe walk” – Giraffes and a few other animals such as brown bears and camels (see T. E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom) move both legs on one side and then both legs on the other side. In some cases the hind leg starts first so there is a slight lag. This is also called ‘Pacing’ and it is the first gait observed in young ‘colts’. -duh? You’ve never seen a cat do this? Get your facts straight before you pick on a fellow artist.

    I have tried to observe the pacing gait… either my cat’s don’t use it or they’re doing it too fast for me to see.
