Sound of Silence?

“The Boxer”… the real one (not the playful stuff posted here…)? As a teenager, I loved it. Did. It fit. I also loved “I am a Rock”… but I was a teenager. I needed — really needed some (sometimes many) of those emotional moats. Haven’t you ever needed those? Ever?

It used to be that you could only get through the first verse or two of “Hey Jude” before the commercial break was over. A few years ago you could just get to the “Nah-na-na-nah” part. Now the breaks are not only long enough for the whole song, but there’s still time for “Her Majesty” afterward.

Aw, crikey. That makes me a Plugger. I’ll be in my room sulking & listening to Simon and Garfunkle.

Arggggggghhhh!!!! NOW I’ve got ALL the songs mentioned above, banging around in My Head!!!!! I gotta play some Captain Beefheart to DRIVE them OUT!!! Well, THAT and Coffee….,

I turn off the radio when commercials come on. I can’t stand it when they feel that they need to repeat a phone number 3 to 4 times. If a person is really interested in your product, they would’ve had the number written down by the second saying of it! It’s just as bad as ringing in the ear!!!

sigh I love my DVR… ;)

Quill is supposed to be keeping Luann from being this bored.

LDOVER, I don’t think Quill has ever been in a Sunday comic. The people who only read LUANN on Sundays wouldn’t know who Quill is. Of course, once you get hooked into LUANN then you will tend to read it during the week also. =-)
