Dad: "Original flavor"...wait, here's "less sodium," and here's "lite," and here's "less fat." What if I want less fat AND less salt? What distinguishes "lite" from these others? Does the "original flavor" package imply that the others taste different? Frankly, my life was plenty complicated BEFORE the potato chips.

You can’t have low sodium and low fat because you need one to disguise the lack of taste due to missing the other. Unless you increase the sugar, then you could probably lower both the fat and sodium.

I never take lite anything. Reduce sodium is a good idea because you can add the amount salt for the flavor you prefer, not to mentioned that most process foods have more salt than is really needed.
