I always read this strip right after Dick Tracy to remind myself what good pacing, coherent storytelling, and art that’s not just the same headshots pasted in over and over are like.

“Commandeer, me any old time FBI guy”? SOmebody’s got her motor rev’d up ya think?

Now, which one of those creeps has the papers? Or, did they leave them in the car? Will they be destroyed, scattered to the wind, or end up in the hands of the F.B.I. ?

I also love the fact that the Sunday strip does more than just recap the previous week’s action. You get additional action and dialog! Things that DTracy is totally missing EVERY day of the week; I mean, this last week’s DT was nothing BUT recaps… So today’s the day I’m finally dropping DT from my bookmarks.

I think the artist changed it from a fancy dumpster to a bulldozer just so’s you’d be right, Joe Allen!

It’s a little known fact that adrenaline is a great aphrodisiac. If Shuter had hung around the stunt driver any longer he’d have been firing a different “gun.”

Wonder what LBJ, RFK, and JFK thought about all those rude people using their initials, not to mention MLK?

Sometimes I think that JAD is one hair short of a troll.

Trucker Ron, as pains me to do it too, I’m afraid I’ll have pull DT from the bookmark myself and replace him with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles effective Monday (tommorrow)! I’ll go back to reading DT when Dick Locher has finally call it quits!

Note that the two thugs fire one-handed and miss; Agent Shuter uses both hands (as I was taught in the Navy) and hits. Of course, they’re trying to make him duck for cover, and he’s actually aiming. Still…

No, I did not know that. I’m sorry that you took offense, no offense was intended. JAD is just a short way of typing your name. I was trying to give you credit for what i thought had been your idea. Now , don’t you know, Joe Allen Doty, that it is extremely rude to take umbrage at someone that meant you no harm, and was trying to give you credit for an idea. We all need friends, don’t dress down people that are acting kindly towards you.

Margueritem is being very gracious Joe Allen. She is someone to have on your side and meant no disrespect. Carefull how you consider her.

Joe Allen Doty, I understand that people have been less than kind to you, but that does not mean that everyone feels that way. Please do not be too quick to defend yourself when no harm was intended. I often learn interesting facts from some of the comments that you make. You appear to be a very intelligent person.

Why on earth would anyone think you’re impolite or unkind. Don’t they know you are one of the most even tempered posters on the boards ?

But I do get the feel that there are a few highly “sensative” posters here.
