LOL - I remember years ago when I had Juno dial up for $9.95 a month - trying to watch a video or even just get online and read my mail…the “olden days”.
Did Garfield include an explanation and apology for all his naughty doings throughout the past year? IF that was stuck in with his list, then today’s installment is refreshingly realistic. Each day would have its own list of crimes and excuses. 349 separate lists?! Why can’t all comic strips be so true-to-life?
But TrueyBluey, being so true-to-life would violate the First Law of Cartoon Physics: “Only When It’s Funny”. :))
Garfield might consider putting the file on one or more DVD-ROMs (or flash drives, or portable terabyte drives), and mailing it. It probably would be faster. :))
This is only part one of the list. He still has to send the cross reference file. And the accessory list.
He should be reading his list and checking it twice.
Making sure that he has battery sizes needed and numbers would be nice.
And then if he’s asking for Cats VS Dogs the video game he has to make sure its for the Beatthecrapouttaoddiestation and not Wiioddiesbroken. And he better remember not to play the game againts pookie… the bear cheats….
Why is it that Garfield is “killing time” by doing lots of other tasks, instead of gaming on the computer. He plays solitaire on the desk? Must be one very ancient computer Jon has there.

USB or Ethernet, doesn’t matter, everything is way too slow.

Maybe he was sending pix along with the list and that slowed things down.

What does Garfield have ? Dialup with AOL? Ever hear of high speed broadband or is Jon too cheap ?
Niki1983 about 15 years ago
Hey, some areas don’t have high speed yet–like where I live. It was one of the most annoying aspects of having to move back in with my parents.

“War and Peace,” Garfield? I remember Odie about to read that after you and Jon left the house alone with that odd dog (27 April ‘89).

Get a gaming PC, Garfield. I recommend the Alienware Aurora R13.
