I believe the original staging of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” was made up of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Schroeder, Linus, and Lucy, and that’s the cast that was featured in the Broadway remake I saw a few years ago. What newer amateur productions have done with it…that’s up for grabs. :) There’s no costumes per se, and very little set, so it’s a production that can be mixed up in all sorts of ways. But Peppermint Patty (among others) doesn’t have a song! ;)
On Broadway, the person who played Snoopy (Roger Bart) brought a pleasant degree of nuttiness to the part - he was quite amazing in the role. I can so see Heart playing Snoopy, she has that same degree of free spirit about her!
The dancing kids you don’t know are Patty (non Peppermint variety), Violet, Shermy, and the bro/twin sister team of (and I’m serious here) 5 and 4 & 6. 5 being short for 555, of course (still serious).

Dean would make a better Linus…
(And Doc, Peppermint Patty doesn’t appear in “A Charlie Brown Christmas”…or was that your point?)

I can’t decide – are we meant to observe the footwear, or is that supposed to be “shoo-in”?

She will end up playing the tree.

Spock could play Woodstock. Just dye him yellow.

Personally, I think Heart will make a grat Lucy. And maybe we can watch “Chuck” get jealous when she hangs around “mister Beethoven”
