Sorry, I don’t mean to be a downer here. Normally love this comic. But on Aug. 7 at 12:46 a.m., my 21-year-old son was on a bicycle and struck and killed by an 18-year-old girl talking on a cell phone. This just ripped at my heart. Please don’t make light of this conduct. She wasn’t paying attention and my son is dead. When you drive, do not text, and turn off your phone. Thank you. — Gary and Ruth Kunich
